ROTC
On the 11th of October, 2008, Blue Devil Company’s award winning color guard competed at the Naval District Washington (NDW) NJROTC color guard competition. Walking away with the champion’s trophy for the second consecutive year, earned this highly skilled team the privilege of presenting the National Colors at the official Navy Birthday Ball in Washington D. C. on October 25th; commemorating the U. S. Navy’s 233rd birthday. OooohRaaah Varina!!!

In attendance at the ball was the Honorable Donald Winter, Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV); Admiral Gary Roughead, Chief of Naval Operations (CNO), RADM Patrick Lorge, Commandant, NDW and many other distinguished guests from the D. C. area. After the evening’s meal, cadets had the opportunity to meet the Secretary and CNO; each cadet was presented a highly coveted, commemorative coin.
