Employee Wellness

PEP Walk"As a school employee, you motivate and encourage students on a daily basis. Whether it's in the classroom, on the bus, or in the cafeteria, students look up to you. When students see you eating healthy they follow suit. You will help yourself and your students feel better and live longer, healthier lives."

Dr. Pat Russo, HCPS Superintendent

Personal Empowerment Program
PEP (Personal Empowerment Plan) is a self-paced wellness program awarded to HCPS by the Virginia Department of Health. This program takes you through different stages of change (from thinking about exercising and eating better to exercising daily and maintaining a healthy weight); it is a way to stay motivated and is easy to follow.

Begin by using the flow charts to determine what stage of change you are in, and then follow that program. PEP is designed to change and move with you as you improve your health and wellness.

Congratulations! You are on your way to a healthy lifestyle!
