FMS Parents and Staff:

YOU’RE INVITED!

The FMS DO Something Club would like to invite you and yours to the

2nd annual Teens for Jeans Fashion Show on Thursday, Feb. 9th in the FMS Gym from 6:30-7:30pm.

This year’s theme is Decades of Denim and students will be modeling styles

from the 70s, 80s, 90s, present, and future!

Our host, Mr. Larry Willis, will keep you entertained

as we journey through the decades of style and music!

Free admission with a jean donation at the door.

Without jeans the suggested donation is $2.00 per person

BUT this is only a suggestion

as we will not turn anyone away!

This event is intended to raise awareness about youth homelessness in our community and all donated jeans will support the shelter programs at St. Joseph’s Villa and Daily Planet.  This event is student organized and facilitated.

The FMS Do Something Club has once again partnered with Aeropostale for the "TEENS FOR JEANS" drive and it kicks off Tuesday, Jan. 17th!!!  Help FMS raise awareness and make a difference in the lives of homeless youth - Did you know that 1 in 3 homeless persons in the US is under the age of 18?!?

We are collecting jeans of any size and color to be donated to a local teen homeless shelter....last year we collected over 1000 pairs of jeans (A State record!) and we want our impact to be even greater this year!!!  Every person that makes a donation will receive a 25% discount on a new pair of jeans at Aeropostale!!

PS…if our school collects the most jeans during the drive, FMS will win a $5,000 school-wide party AND a free pair of Aeropostale jeans for every student in the school!!!

As a culminating event, we will once again host a TEENS FOR JEANS Fashion Show (as featured on School Matters  last year) on Feb. 9th in the FMS Gym from 6:30-7:30…Free Admission with a jean donation at the door!

Please share the attached flyer with coworkers, start a collection at your place of worship, or just go door to door!  Last year, our students made a difference…this year, we want to change lives and your help is greatly appreciated!

Contact Ms. Hall at 328-4020 for more info.  All donations will support St. Joseph’s Villa/Daily Planet homeless shelter programs.  Donations must be dropped off at FMS prior to Dec. 10th.  More information can be found here.

The FMS PTSA is sponsoring a "Gospel Explosion" at FMS on February 4.  Check out the flyer for more information.
