Silence Hurts
Senators! You now have a chance to report bullying information anonymously. Please use this link to voice your concerns. It is designed to keep students safe from bullying, drugs, suicide, gangs, violence, and any other threat to student safety. Silence Hurts is not monitored in real-time. Your anonymous message will be sent to multiple administrators which will be viewed during school hours. If this matter involves the immediate risk of injury or is life-threatening, then you should call 911.
Byrd is excited to be hosting its first Senator Golf Tournament to benefit the athletic department! Please see this flier and more information here to participate in what is sure to be a fun and memorable event!
Looking for the perfect way to recognize a special teacher?
The R.E.B. awards are designed to identify, recognize, and support teaching excellence in the metropolitan Richmond public school systems. Professional development grants ranging from $4,000 to $12,000 each will be awarded to teachers who have distinguished themselves by their inspiring classroom performance. Recognize an outstanding teacher in your school for an R.E.B. Award by finding out more information here and filling out a required nomination form. Hurry! Nominations are due February 23rd!
