HCPS is proud of its recent implementation of BoardDocs, our new online eGovernance solution. The purpose of this initiative is to provide online access to our citizens about school board meetings, policies, and updates. We hope this will be a valuable resource to help you stay connected with HCPS. (click here to go to BoardDocs)
Through community engagement and stakeholder involvement, the Henrico County School Board supports the implementation of the HCPS five-year strategic plan. The yearlong planning process, which began in October of 2009, finalized in the fall of 2010. The process included a steering committee, action committees, community review, school board approval, and school-based strategic planning. With school board approval, the school division will follow a community-developed strategic plan for the next five years.
