Henrico County Public Schools is noted for its vast pupil transportation infrastructure. Transporting over 46,000 students each day, the Department of Pupil Transportation utilizes a fleet of 600 school buses.

We transport over 46,000 students daily to 45 elementary, 12 middle and 9 high schools throughout the county. We also provide shuttle services to the Technical and Specialty Centers located at various high schools.
Our buses travel more than 50,000 miles a day and 9,000,000 miles a year. This is equivalent to 1771 round trips from Henrico, Virginia to Los Angeles, California.
