PRACTICAL NURSING  - ADMISSION PROCEDURE

 

What is the Procedure for Admissions?

Rising Henrico County Public School seniors may apply through their guidance office or directly to the school with their guidance counselor's permission.

Practical Nursing Application

In addition to the application each applicant is required to:

1.        Submit a copy of a United States of America high school or GED transcript

2.        Submit three (3) work or educational references. Download the reference form here.

3.        Have an interview

Each adult applicant is required to take a pre-entrance test.  This test will measure skills in reading, vocabulary, spelling, arithmetic, and science.

All admission requirements must be met.

Advance credit for returning or transfer students will be considered on an individual basis.  At least 2/3 of Practical Nursing II must be completed by returning/transfer students to meet graduation requirements.
