| Attention students
with a high school diploma, the Federal Aviation Association is taking
applications for air traffic controller school. You need only a high
school diploma to apply and credit is given for college on the exam.
Fill out the application immediately even if you don't know if you
don’t want to attend immediately, it may be several months before
the federal government calls. The key is to apply NOW... The FAA rarely
has an open application such as this and these jobs are coveted. This
is a great opportunity and it should be noted that choosing a site
like Anchorage or Indianapolis to train is a likely acceptance into
the training program, after which you can transfer anywhere in the
country that has a tower.

The High School Diplomats Program is a cultural enrichment experience that brings together high school students from Japan and the United States. Both programs' goals are to provide academic and social activities intended to spread international understanding among Japanese and American high school students. In addition, the program hopes to foster the creation of meaningful and lasting friendships. Each participant in the program is given a generous scholarship that pays for room, board, special activity and most program transportation costs.

Eligibility: |
Students may apply during their high school sophomore and junior years. Children of AIG employees and their agents may not apply. We afford equal opportunity to students of all races , ethnic, and religious backgrounds. |
Cost: |
Room, board, special activity costs and a portion of program transportation costs are paid by program scholarships. |
Deadlines: |
Applicants may only apply during the application period, from September 15, 2009 through January 7, 2010. |
