Career and Technical Education

Career and Technical Education provides students with the opportunity to develop academic and technical skills that will prepare them to successfully transition to postsecondary education, work, or the military. Through CTE courses, students not only gain valuable skills by applying academic concepts to the technical skills they learn, but they also gain an understanding of the world of work and the work-readiness skills needed to be successful in any career. Opportunities are available for students to earn college credits through selected courses and to prepare for licensure and/or industry certifications related to their programs of study.
