Online Application Notice

Check our current openings page for the weekly updated vacancy list. Applications for teachers, librarians and guidance counselors are accepted year round. These vacancies are not advertised on the list.


Teacher or Professional:
If you are applying for a job as a teacher or for a professional position, you must fill out a General Application and provide three signed letters of reference, a current resume, transcripts from college and a copy of your current teaching license or scores from teacher assessments.

Administrative:
If you are applying for an administrative position, (Principal, Assistant Principal, Specialist or Central Office administrative position) you must fill out the Application for Administrative Vacancy, provide three signed letters references, your undergraduate and graduate transcripts, and a current resume.

Substitute:
If you are applying for a job as a substitute teacher, you must fill out the Substitute Application form. You must also provide two signed references and your transcripts.

Instructional Assistants:
Requirements for ALL Instructional Assistants

  • Completion of a minimum 60 credits from an institution of higher education; or
  • Obtain an associate (or higher) degree; or
  • Have passed the ParaPro assessment (offered by the Educational Testing Service)

Applicant must provide a copy of College transcripts or ParaPro assessment scores when submitting an application.

Clerical:
For clerical positions, applicants must fill out a General Application, and provide three signed letters of reference.


Everyone who applies for a job and is hired also must provide:

  • Documentation to establish identify and employment eligibility
  • TB assessment can be provided by school system)
  • Fingerprinting (provided by school system)
  • Completed tax form
  • Completed Child Protective Services form (provided by school system)
