TEMPORARY INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANTS
Applicants must meet the Highly Qualified standard (NO Child Left Behind). Minimum Requirements – 60 semester college/university credits or an associate’s degree or higher OR have taken and passed the ParaPro Assessment (minimum score of 455).

TEMPORARY REMEDIAL TEACHER
The selected candidate will administer a comprehensive assessment of reading and math skills to students enrolled in a Juvenile Detention Home Education Program to determine the need for remediation; to maintain pre- and post-test data; to disseminate assessment results to teachers; and to provide appropriate support to teachers and students in reading and math.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION: Experience working with at-risk youth; experience teaching reading and/or math at either middle or secondary school level; must hold a current teaching license with an endorsement at the middle or high school level.

Position is for 2 hours per day Monday – Friday from 11:15 a. m. to 1:15 p. m.

TEMPORARY CLINIC ATTENDENT
Supports the school nurse in providing direct services to students in matters pertaining to student health. High School Graduate or equivalent. First Aid and CPR is highly recommended, but not required. Knowledge and use of universal precautions for communicable diseases and bloodborne pathoghens; ability to follow directions; ability to lift students as required; good written and verbal communication skills.
